About This Department
The Clerk and Recorder’s Office is the official records center for Sanders County. Responsibilities of the Clerk and Recorder include but are not limited to, recording and maintaining the legal documents relating to real estate records, land descriptions, plats and surveys, county birth and death records and the records of the Board of County Commissioners. The office prepares and maintains county-wide accounts and the financial reporting system, budgets and fixed asset control. The office also maintains payroll and county/employee insurance, and retirement data.
Note: Budget information is open to the public and is available at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office.
